Faith Evangelical Bible Church in Henderson, Nebraska, is looking for a man to fill the position of senior pastor.  The senior pastor will first and foremost shepherd and equip the congregation in accordance with the characteristics laid out in Titus 1, I Timothy 3, and Philippians 2.  He will provide sound Biblical teaching as well as leadership and direction to the church leaders and the congregation.  This includes casting vision, discipling, training leaders, and building relationships within the church and in the community.

Salvation by grace as stated in Ephesians 2 is the greatest value of our church.  We have conservative values that center around strong Biblical teaching, family, missions, and community outreach.

Henderson is a rural community of about 1,000 people.  We are located 15 miles west of York, Nebraska and 60 miles west of Lincoln, Nebraska along I-80.  The economy is largely based on agriculture.  Although the town has a strong contingency of people with a Mennonite background, it has attracted people of many backgrounds in recent years.  It is important for the applicant to have an understanding of rural, agricultural communities.

Faith Evangelical Bible Church, affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches, is a congregation of about 125 people including people of all ages.  We have a strong community of young families.  Our church currently has a pastor of youth ministries.  With the changes in the population in our community in recent years, we have great potential for outreach and growth.
