We are beginning a new series called “A Life Beyond Amazing” by Dr. David Jeremiah.  This week’s message is “A Life of Endurance”.  This life-changing series explores the nine qualities of character that carry us forward. Three of these have to do with our relationship with ourselves, three deal with interactions with other people, and three of them focus on our relationship with God.

Have you obeyed the Lord in baptism?  Jesus’ last command before ascending to heaven was, “Go and make disciples…baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)  Baptism is the very first step of discipleship after you are saved.  If you would like to learn more about the importance of baptism, there will be a two-week class in the next two months during the Sunday School hour.  Please contact Pastor Crale as soon as possible to be included in this class.

Our church will be hosting the Grace Chorale for a concert in this area on Friday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m.  This will be a final opportunity to hear the choir as the school will be closing at the end of this year.  We are almost there in providing housing for all 39 guests.  Thank you for your generous responses!

The Christian Ed committee is seeking a couple or a teacher with a helper for the 4 year old  Sunday School class of 10 children beginning the first Sunday in March.    Teachers alternate each quarter so this would be for the Spring and Fall quarters.  If interested please contact Bob Decker, Sarah Nunnenkamp, or Lacey Gloystein.

Communique to all FEBC Churches,

Thank you for praying for the International Board of the FEBC as it met in Winnipeg February 9 & 10. We had hoped that we would be able to announce the name of our new president right after that meeting. However, in late January, a promising candidate withdrew his name and another potential candidate decided not to seek that office. We will be renewing recruitment efforts in the coming days.

Please pray earnestly that God would enable existing staff and board members to take care of the essential services of our Fellowship until God leads us to our next president. The Board will also activate a search for a Ministries Coordinator instead of waiting for the installation of a new president.

Blaine Donaldson has accepted a call to Trinity Baptist Church in Spokane, Washington. We rejoice that the Lord has provided him with this new ministry opportunity. He will end his service with the FEBC in late March.
